Matt and Alex|Wedding Photography|Lake Stevens
This is quite a special blog post because it has to do with my favorite wedding of all time. This wedding happened two and a half years ago, and I was the bride.
Because of how picky I am when it comes to photography, I was able to compose and edit all of my wedding photos and make them tell the story of my husband and I.
We got married on a hot and very sunny Friday in August. There was not a cloud in the sky which may sound awesome but makes for very tricky photography. Even though our wedding timeline got shifted because of the harsh sun, ceremony got pushed to a later time due to terrible traffic, and not everything was "perfect", it was the absolute best day of our lives.
I will never forget Matthew saying his vows and pretty much making every grown man cry. I will always remember the peacock that was obnoxiously loud as we promised our forever and made all of us crack up. Taking selfies with Blitz, singing at the top of our lungs, doing the whip and nae nae dance in between our wedding portraits. There were so many little moments that made our day one of a kind. But what was more important was the love. Our love made that day perfect. Nothing mattered but the fact that on August 7th, 2015, we became husband and wife.
It was truly the best day ever and I can't wait to share these images with our kids and grand kids one day.
